Privacy Policy
The short version: everything you put in Unlearn Skill stays on your device. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we don't sell or share it. There are no ads and no purchases.
1. What this app is
Unlearn Skill is a focus app that helps you decide which skills to let go of and which one new skill to focus on. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
2. Information you enter
You may enter things like your list of skills, your Stop / Keep / Start choices, your learning goal, notes, and your focus session history and settings.
All of this is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to any server, and we have no access to it.
3. Information we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, store or process any personal information from you. The app has:
- no account, sign-up or login
- no cloud sync
- no advertising identifiers
4. Ads and purchases
Unlearn Skill has no ads and no in-app purchases at this time. Because of that, no advertising or payment companies receive any information about you through the app.
5. Notifications
If you turn them on, the app can send you reminders, such as a nudge to start a focus session. These are created and scheduled on your device. You can allow or turn off notifications at any time in your phone's settings.
6. Third parties
We do not share your information with anyone, because we don't have it. The app does not include third-party services that collect data.
7. Backups by your device
Your phone's operating system (for example Google or Apple backup services) may include app data in your device backups if you have backups turned on. That is controlled by your device settings and the platform provider's own privacy policy, not by us.
8. Your control
Since your data lives on your device, you are in full control:
- Delete everything by clearing the app's storage in your phone settings, or by uninstalling the app.
9. Children
Unlearn Skill is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information, no data about children is collected either.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding ads, purchases or online features, we will update this policy before the change and update the effective date above. The latest version is always available in the app and on our website.
